1) Why did you choose this particular recreation and how does it link to your main production?
We chose this particular recreation because we thought that it would be a challenge for us as this scene contained some very interesting shots. In addition, for my main production our group were planning to create a music video so it would make sense to do a music video for our preliminary so we could learn key things
2) What difficulties did you face in producing this recreation?
Since we wanted our production to look very similar to the original we had to ensure that there was sum. However, the main issue we came across was the lighting. The reason for this was that the sun wasn't facing in the directions we preferred it to.
3) What are the strengths of the production?
The strengths for our production were that we were able to get the correct shots to make our production look very similar, the quality of the shots came out very clear and the lighting in the video was very good. In addition,
4) What aspects would you look to improve?
we had some minor continuity errors which we could have improved.
5) What lessons will you take from this process that will help you with your main production?
From this first task I learned that lighting was a very important factor for when it comes to getting a production to be at a professional quality.
6) Now that you are ready to start your actual linked production, explain clearly what you will be creating and how confident you are in delivering this.
For my actual linked production I am planning to create a cinematic music video which shows a combination of youth, violence and disorder. Although I haven't found the exact track that i want to use i am really confident that this will turn out good.
